Here's a taste of the new project from MC Spank Rock and Benny Blanco, "Bangers and Cash". According to their myspace, it's a tribute to 2 Live Crew with every track featuring a sample from the Miami Bass legends. We've heard three out of the five cuts scheduled for release on the E.P. on Oct. 9th and they are all quite excellent. "Shake That" has already established itself in Andy's crate and B.O.O.T.A.Y. featuring Santogold is one of the hardest booty jams we've heard. All of this suggests that Spank Rock are still thoroughly "on it" and has increased this blogger's anticipation for their sophomore effort.
