Lindstrom - Little Drummer Boy (Edit)

Few things beyond the Kanye/Spike video debacle have provoked as much bemusement recently as the announcement that Norwegian chill-trance producer, Lindstrom, would be releasing a 40-minute plus version of Christmas classic, "Little Drummer Boy". It dominated much of the pre-Ekstravaganza conversation this past weekend (where he headlined), but for whatever reason none of our contingent lasted long enough into his set to find out whether he played it or not.

So we were excited to say the least this morning to see The Fader had posted an edited version of the track, which we've re-posted for you below. Apparently the full length, epic version is available as a bonus track on the Lindstrom & Christabelle album which is out today, available at Rough Trade. You can buy it here.

Norway's King of Beard has stepped in to record the centennial edition of Fact's superb mix series, apparently going the "influences" route; who'd have thought Hall & Oates would be among them?
