Yes we know, this is the third remix of "You'll Disappear" we've posted since the Munk reworking back in September, but we're nowhere near bored of the PHB's cartoon-cosmic synths, hippy-drippy vocals and surprisingly enough, even a couple of handclaps. And how could we be when fine producers like Horse Meat Disco take the reins to create fine remixes like the one posted below? That's right, we couldn't. Check the previous remixes here and here.

Manicured Noise - Metronome (Cousin Cole Remix)
Stomping is a seldom used word in these blog fueled days but we think it applies nicely to the dance you'll probably do (or at least want to inside) when you hear Cousin Cole's remix of Manicured Noise's "Metronome". Untamed, swinging saxophone, huge drums and bass and a breakdown featuring someone screaming bandito style. F-U-N!

This New Technology Remixes
Midnight Juggernauts have an album on the way and are about to release a limited run 7" single (only 500 copies) of "This New Technology" which you can purchase here. They also managed to enlist an impressive cast of remixers for the digi ep, with Juan Maclean, Nile Delta, Memory Tapes and Emperor Machine all lending a hand. The Phenomenal Handclap Band - You'll Disappear (Prins Thomas Discomiks)
Another fine "Discomiks" from Prins Thomas' lastest batch, this time a remix of another indie/dance group, The Phenonemal Handclap Band. You may remember us posting Munk's remix of "You'll Disappear" last month, but this one's a little different, Prins Thomas eschewing the original's pop arrangement and taking it on one of his extended, rocky, prog-disco journeys.
Also, keep an eye out for the Full Pupp gang in the capital, as the Prins and co. have a new gig, Ekstravaganza at Corsica Studios. According to our sources the first night was a huge success and rumour has it that Lindstrom will be joining the Prins for his return visit in November. You can count us in.

Jonathan Jeremiah - Happiness (Morgan Geist Remix)
In the world of internet hype, characters like Jonathan Jeremiah stand out a bit. Rather than writing songs, recording them on the nearest bit of available equipment and hyping them into oblivion on the web, Jeremiah saved up for seven years so he could afford to pay a legendary group of session musicians to play on his album and record the whole thing in an analogue studio. With such dedication to sound quality, it's not surprising that his already released e.p. is sonically a little different from the average; his music captures the most flattering side of the 60s and 70s crooner orchestras but with the emotion, world-weariness and authenticity of a seasoned blues or jazz singer on vocals. You can buy the E.P. here and as far as we know, the album will be out in the near future.
Below is one of the E.P's tracks remixed by a favourite of ours, Morgan Geist. If you heard his recent "We Make It Good Mix", then you'll appreciate he's been on a downtempo, balearic pop vibe as of late, perfectly demonstrated on this remix with buttery bass synths, reverb'd cowbells and Jeremiah's voice fitting perfectly into a completely different soundscape to the original.

Munk Remixed by Cut Copy + Munk Autumn Mix
Two Munk posts in the same week but we think it's totally justifiable, especially since this time we've included the man from Gomma's Autumn Mix too, how's that for a sweetener? Below is Cut Copy's "jackmaster" remix of Munk's "Back Down" which sees the Aussie popsters bring out the twisted high energy disco elements and big pianos on what has to be one of our favourite Cut Copy remixes to date.
